TRIPS - Payment Process

Exciting News: A New Way to Manage Payments for School Trips!

At Wyvil, we believe that every child deserves enriching learning experiences beyond the classroom. To make it easier for families to manage the costs of these opportunities, we’re introducing a new, flexible payment system for school trips and activities. (Please note: residential trips will continue to follow a separate payment process.)

What’s Changing?

Starting from September 2024, each child will have the chance to participate in at least one trip or special experience per term. These could include cost-free excursions, exciting school visitors, or trips that require a financial contribution.

To make payments as straightforward as possible, we’re offering two options:

1. Pay Per Trip

Each time a trip is scheduled, you’ll receive a letter from your child’s class teacher outlining the total cost. You’ll be invited to make a payment covering the cost of that specific trip.

For example, if a visit to London Zoo costs £8, we’ll kindly ask for an £8 payment, which can be made through the MCAS platform.

2. Monthly Payment Plan: Spread the Cost

To make managing payments easier, we’re offering a straightforward monthly payment option:

  • Pay £4 per month from September to June (no payments in December, July, or August).
  • This covers all trips for the year (excluding residential trips).

Payments can be securely managed via the MCAS (My Child At School) platform, providing a flexible and convenient way to pay.
