TRIPS - Payment Process

Exciting News: A New Way to Manage Payments for School Trips!

At Wyvil, we believe that every child deserves enriching learning experiences beyond the classroom. To make it easier for families to manage the costs of these opportunities, we’re introducing a new, flexible payment system for school trips and activities. (Please note: residential trips will continue to follow a separate payment process.)

What’s Changing?

Starting from September 2024, each child will have the chance to participate in at least one trip or special experience per term. These could include cost-free excursions, exciting school visitors, or trips that require a financial contribution.

To make payments as straightforward as possible, we’re offering two options:

1. Pay Per Trip

Each time a trip is arranged, you will receive a letter from your child’s class or phase team with the total cost for that visit. You will then be invited to make payment for that individual trip.

For example, if a visit to London Zoo costs £8, we will request an £8 payment, which can be made via the MCAS platform.

2. Monthly Payment Plan: Spread the Cost

To make trip costs easier to manage, families can choose to pay for class trips through a monthly instalment option.

Families can pay £4 per month from September to June (with no payments in December, July or August). This covers all class trips for the year, excluding residential trips.

Payments are made securely via MCAS (My Child At School), offering a flexible and convenient way to spread the cost.
