Culture Day
Celebrating Diversity at Wyvil
We are delighted to share that Wyvil will be celebrating Culture Day on Thursday 19th June, an exciting event organised by our Children’s Leadership Team. This special day is a chance for our whole school community to come together and celebrate the rich cultural diversity that makes Wyvil so unique.
Throughout the day, children will take part in a variety of activities designed to recognise and share the traditions, backgrounds and stories that shape our community.
Cultural Dress
Pupils are invited to wear an outfit that represents their culture or heritage. This could be traditional dress, a football shirt, national colours, a flag, or a handmade accessory. There is no expectation to buy anything new — creativity and pride in one’s background are what matter most.
Assembly & Carnival
The day will begin with a Culture Day assembly led by the Children’s Leadership Team at 9am. This will be followed by a vibrant school-wide carnival where pupils can showcase and celebrate their cultures together.
We look forward to a joyful and inclusive day of learning, celebration and pride. Thank you for your continued support.
