Emoji Competition Winners
To mark Safer Internet Day 2017 Years 2,3,4,5 & 6 participated in a design an emoji competition. Two winners from each year group were chosen.
Year 6 led our celebration of Harvest 2013 with an informative assembly and some wonderful singing. The pupils composed their own Harvest poems and created powerpoints related to Harvest around the world and fair trade. We were delighted to share our very own crops grown in the Wyvil garden at the assembly.

Spanish Day at Wyvil 2012
Some photos of our Spanish Day which was held on 9th February. The children enjoyed dressing up, making hats and fans, performing drama and making and tasting Spanish food. At our special assembly, we had a visitor from the Spanish Embassy and a performance from a professional Flamenco dancer.
Roman Exhibition in 3C
3C invited parents in for a Roman exhibition on Wednesday. The children dressed up and hosted workshops for the parents. They also enjoyed showing off their work on this topic as well as performing a role play.
Chinese New Year 2012 at Wyvil
Children throughout the school worked with Mrs Marrison and Miss Holder to prepare an assembly to celebrate Chinese New Year. The assembly told the story of the Chinese New Year through poetry, narration and song. A procession of drumming and wonderful singing by the whole school welcomed in the dragon.
Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' by Year 6
A group of children in Year 6 from both Wyvil and Vauxhall Schools prepared and performed 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' by William Shakepeare at the Lost Theatre last summer. Here at Wyvil, they repeated that performance for the school. It was our first ever Shakespeare performance by the children at Wyvil.
